Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of training mode on static range of motion and isokinetic mus-cle function during ankle rehabilitation. 24 collegiates male student who experienced ankle sprain paticipated in this study. They were divided into Baps Board Training group(BTG, n=8), Trampoline Training group(TTG, n=8), contral group(CG, n=8). Ankle ROM, isokinetic ankle strength(Peak Torque, Peak Torque to Body Weight Ratio) were measured. As a result, significant increase of dorsi-flexion ROM was shown in BTG and TTG(p<.05). In peak torque of isokinetic ankle strength, inversion of right an-kle(p<.05), inversion(p<.05) and eversion(p<.01) of left ankle were significantly increased. There was no significant differ-ence in peak torque to body weight ratio of BTG and TTG.In conclusion, Baps Board training and Trampoline training has positive effect in protecting ankle injuries and improv-ing ankle unstability and rehabilitation by increasing range of motion and strength.
